About Karen Ekshian

Karen Ekshian is a proud alumna of the Albert Dorman Honors College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the School of Architecture.  She and her husband, Hayk, met while competing on the NJIT swim team. Together they run Space&Mark, an architecture firm based in Summit, New Jersey. The firm specializes in custom residential design and strives to enhance people's daily lives through thoughtful and elegant architectural solutions.

Before focusing on residential design, Karen launched her career at Marvel Architects, where she played a pivotal role in renovating NJIT's Central King Building and creating a state-of-the-art branch of the Brooklyn Public Library in Brooklyn Heights.  Karen is thrilled to return to her alma mater to engage in discussions about the future of architecture and design.
