THE WASHINGTON RESIDENCE

This project is ground up construction on a corner lot, and required variance approval due to the property's side yard setback restrictions. We utilized the existing 6' topographic elevation change to tuck a single-car garage at the basement level, and recapture that square footage on the first floor for living space. Engineered joists span the entire width of the home, which eliminates the need for load bearing walls.
